WAVES

Visual twitter feedback.

Waves was a project in collaboration with two digital interaction students. The focus was to create a physical representation of a social media site, allowing the user to interact in some physical way to their digital lives.

The product connects to the internet via processing. The feedback system functions using the frequency of the re-tweets. i.e the number of re-tweets the user receives is directly connected to the frequency and velocity of the waves in the fish tank.

The project's physical technology consists of an arduino and a servo. The servo is attached to a paddle that in turn produces waves within the fish tank.
