KALEIDOSCOPE

From the moment of our birth the human eye is naturally drawn to light, colour and movement; often inducing a calming, almost hypnotic effect. This product encapsulates that effect and aims to project a feeling of serenity within a room. Sympathetic aesthetics and the use of natural materials for the exterior, ensured that the product remained unobtrusive yet sophisticated while not in use.
Dynamic lighting.
It emits a soft yet expressive pattern upon the ceiling. Kaleidoscope can be enjoyed as a static or dynamic light, rotating slowly in a mesmerising kaleidoscopic pattern.
With other light sources, Kaleidoscope acts as an understated side lamp which projects a more subtle pattern on the wall and ceiling; unobtrusive in demeanour. As the only light source in the space, Kaleidoscope transforms into an immersive experience with a fluid pattern that draws the gaze. The lamp could be used in a child's bedroom as a night light or in a living space, helping people unwind after a busy day.
With inspiration from the first half of the 20th century, the product's aesthetics portray longevity and craftsmanship. Designed in a modular fashion, Kaleidoscope is built to be fully accessible to the user for cleaning and maintinance purposes.
